Yuichi Imai (1949-) is unarguably one of Japans most experienced luthier of classical guitars. He began building in the 60s and became an independent maker in 1971. His vintage guitars are today very rare due to strong demand in Japan.
Here we have a fine sounding and playing example from 1979. This guitar has been been through alot during the years and has a few repairs, among them a few repaired cracks on the top and a replaced bridge. The frets are quite worn too. With that said, the guitar is now structurally perfect, with low action and easy playability.
So, if you are looking for a mint condition guitar look somewhere else. If you however want an amazing sounding and playing instrument from one of Japan’s most famous luthier, this is your chance. A Hiscox case is included in the price.
