The highest model from the Picado workshop, hand-built by Ángel Genís with a beautiful glowing solid spruce top and solid Madagascar Rosewood (Dalbergia baronii) back and sides, reinforced with double back “doble tapa” for better projection and bass response. This guitar has a typically Spanish Madrid sound (think Manuel Contreras, Paulino Bernabe and José Ramirez) with plenty of warmth and fullness, yet with just the right amount of clarity. The tone and sustain is very good with well defined notes throughout, even above 12th fret. There is a pleasant loosens to be felt when you pluck the strings, much like the good old instruments from the past – making it easy to change the tone color and allowing a soft vibrato. The action is low at 3,8 mm on the bass side and 2,8 mm on the treble without any buzzing and the neck shape is very comfortable with just the right amount of relief. The condition is great with one small repaired and stable crack just above the bridge and the top was recently repolished making the instrument look more or less like new. A quality hard case is included in the price
